Our team is focused on transparency in building so you know exactly what is happening with your home during each step of the process. We also have strategic partnerships with providers for everything beyond the build that you will need for your home…financing, engineering, insurance, and inspections and permitting. We stand by you and we stand by our work.

Step 1: Land

Find your land or lot in Chambers, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston and Harris Counties

Step 2: Create Plans

Bring your plans or we can coordinate with our partner, A+F Engineering, to create architectural drawings from your ideas for your forever home. We provide full structural and windstorm engineering, floor plans, site plan, and exterior elevations, as well as options for more detailed interior elevations. Regardless if your bring your floor plan or create with our team, we build our structures to the FORTIFIED design standard, which is a higher level of fortifications for your home against a range of natural disasters. FORTIFIED will increase your home’s resiliency and give you more peace of mind before, during and after the storms we design and build your home to withstand.

Step 3: Budget

Our team will help you create a budget for construction. WindPro Builders has clear, upfront pricing with a cost+ model, so the cost of materials and labor for your home will have a standard 20% build fee. No hidden or last-minute fees from WindPro Builders, ever.

Step 4: Financing

WindPro Builders can recommend providers for lending services, conveniently available in our offices and can accommodate your construction schedule.

Step 4: Create Plans

Bring your plans or we can coordinate with our partner, A+F Engineering, to create architectural drawings from your ideas for your forever home. Step 5: The Details

We have material options available in our office for your selection or you can work with our product selection coordinator to visit local home finishings galleries. We can also design your pre-selected finishings into your plans.

Step 6: Building

We take the honor and responsibility of building your home very seriously. Once construction begins, you will have access to a client portal to track the progress of your home, including pictures and reports from all trades and weekly updates (progress, budget and schedule) from WindPro Builders. We have a carefully curated team of craftsmen who are all separately insured, thoroughly vetted, licensed, and in good standing in their trade as required by the State of Texas.

We contract with the expert windstorm and structural engineering inspectors at Aran + Franklin Engineering and work with municipal permitting offices to ensure your home is built as designed and that no shortcuts are taken, providing you transparency and peace of mind.

Step 7: Warranty

Once construction is complete, a final inspection with stamped report will come with a one-year builder’s warranty.

At 11 months, you will receive a complimentary Strong Home Inspection by Aran + Franklin Engineering to identify any warranty needs prior to expiration of the warranty.

WindPro Builders has a negotiated discount for annual inspections through the Strong Home Inspection Program. WindPro homes are also given priority for post-storm inspections.

At 5 years, your FORTIFIED designation will need to be renewed, so we will contact you to set up your FORTIFIED inspection.

Step 8: Insurance

WindPro works closely with insurance agents who are well-educated on the benefits of insuring an FORTIFIED home and can work with you to provide a policy for your new WindPro home, including discounts based on your FORTIFIED designation.
